Your First Week with Journae
The first week is about establishing a baseline you can compare everything against. Aim for a good setup rather than a perfect one — you can adjust as you go.
Day one — set up
- Create one journey to begin with. Extra journeys are easy to add later.
- Write a short, specific goal in plain language.
- Choose a reminder time that matches when you have good light.
Day one — baseline photos
- Pick your spot: a plain wall, a window, a fixed standing position.
- Capture every angle you intend to keep capturing.
- Add a short note describing your current routine.
Rest of week one
- Do not expect visible change — you are building repeatability.
- Fix anything awkward now: better light, a phone stand, a different time.
- Add one more journey only if week one felt easy.
