What beta testing involves

Early access to selected features before they are released to everyone.
Using those features in your own real journeys, at your own pace.
Occasional short prompts or emails asking what worked and what did not.
No minimum time commitment and no obligation to respond to every request.

Who can apply

Anyone aged 18 or over with a Journae account on any plan, including Free.
People who track at least one journey regularly enough to notice a difference.
We especially value testers on a range of devices, browsers and journey types.
Places are limited and applying does not guarantee acceptance.

What feedback we may ask for

Whether a feature was understandable without explanation.
Whether AI wording felt supportive, accurate and appropriately uncertain.
Where something was slow, confusing, broken or visually wrong.
What you expected to happen and what happened instead.

Features may change

Beta features are unfinished and may behave inconsistently.
A feature may be redesigned, delayed or removed entirely after testing.
Beta access does not guarantee that a feature will be included in your plan later.
Beta features are not covered by the same reliability expectations as the main app.

Data and privacy in beta

Your photos and entries stay private and under your control exactly as in the main app.
We never ask you to send us your progress photos in order to take part.
Feedback you send is stored with your email address so we can follow up on it.
You can leave the programme at any time by emailing us, with no effect on your account.

How to report issues

Email support@journaeapp.com with the word BETA in the subject line.
Tell us the page, the device and browser, and what you were doing at the time.
A screenshot with anything personal cropped out is extremely helpful.
Urgent problems affecting your data are prioritised over cosmetic issues.
